Abstract:	The north-western part of the country has not been thouroughly surveyed as far as the inventory and the composition of the plant communities is concerned.In this area of the country the number of works written on this subject is restrained to some idle articles which can hardly cover the picture regarding the plant communities in the Baia-Mare Depression.
