Abstract: The aim of this experimental work was to determine if the cryopreservation of mouse blastocysts affect their viability. We user 32 inception, 38 medium and 48 advanced blastocysts. Embryos were obtained by flushing the uterine horns of mouse females in day 4 p.c. (post coitus). “Cryocell-1200” was utilized for cryopreservation of embryos taking in to account data from literature. Cryopreservation doesn’t affect significantly the viability of preimplantation mouse embryos.
Keywords: Fertilization, embryoculture, cryopreservation, blastocyst
