Abstract:	The invetorying of the plant communities in the north-western area of the country has been a desideratum with a view to complete the componence of the plants-growth in Romania. In this area of the country the subject has been treated in only few disparate articles which, even so, hardly manage to cover the vast picture of the plant communities in the Baia-Mare Depression.
