  The researches upon the quality of the wood of wild cherry trees from the Forest Ward Savarsin, from the Forest Central Board Arad, were based on the stocktaking of the trees from this species with the diameter above 30 cm. the study contains an analysis of the quality of the wood of standing wild cherry trees, depending on the ratio of working wood from the tree’s height. Result that 87% of the stocktaking wild cherry trees have more than 25% working wood able for industrialization. Keywords: the quality of the wood of wild cherry tree, the ratio of working wood, the speed of the technical exploitation
