Aspecte privind actiunea alelopatica a nucului negru (Juglans nigra) asupra unor specii de graminee

ASPECTS REGARDING THE ALELOPATHIC ACTION OF BLACK WALNUT (JUGLANS NIGRA L.) ON GRAMINAEE SPECIES. In the performed experiments, we had pursued the toxic effect of the allelopathic substances from dry black nutshell (Juglans nigra L.), on 3 species tested plants: Triticum aestivum L., Lolium perene L. and Bromus inermis L. It has been prepared an aqueous extract at 5, 15, 25, 50, 75 and 100% concentration, from the green nutshell (in autumn) and from black nutshell being under putrefaction (in winter). The aqueous extract had manifested an inhibitor effect on the seeds germination and on the growth process of the plants exposed to tests, especially the prepared extract from the green pericarp, in concentrations of 50%, 75% and 100%.
